I recently hired Rylec / Cardiff Electricians for a full rewire on our new home, and the service was superb. The gent that came to do the work was extremely knowledgeable, and did a great work. I would happily recommend this company to family and friends. Very professional, tidy, and a pleasure to have around..

Had someone come out last week. Told we would have as estimate the following day..... Nope. Phoned them and they said they would get back to me the same day... Nope.Im surprised they haven't gone bankrupt if this is how they run a business.. Tried phoning to complain... No answer

Used this company to sort out a electrical trip issue they came and found the problem and replaced a wire in the kitchen and needed a fuse in the main fuse board. Took the money for both and said will come back later to change the fuse never came back and never answered my phone calls after that. avoid at all cost Just had a response from the owner saying company has closed.so if its closed then why are you responding to reviews instead of dealing with unhappy customers.

I cannot give zero stars as this is not an option. Fitted dangerous fuse box and never produced a safety certificate after months of chasing. Drilled through a wall to the kitchen tiles and tried to use old cabling for the new sockets. Eventually had to get another electrician in who told me to report him to trading standards as it was all very dangerous. He even asked for an extra £60 for the certificate but it still never arrived.

Called Rylec to ask if they would come out to take a look at the oven. The man who answered the phone was abrupt and rather hasty to hang up. Only told me what time the engineer would call rounf (10am) because I asked. Waited in all day, no engineer turned up, not even a phone call to explain why. Due to this I had to throw a ton of wasted food out that I couldn't cook. And the oven is still broken! Biggest waste of time.
