For physical reasons we needed to replace our bath with a walk-in shower. The bathroom is small so there were difficulties. Mathison's were the only one of three to produce a really workable plan, with a detailed quotation. Heating Control System added at our request. We are highly satisfied with both the result and the way the work was carried out. The tiling and carpentry are superb. The team working and cleanliness throughout were exemplary. In fact, if John were still a University Lecturer in Quality Management he would be using this organisation as an example of good practice. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone with a similar project.

Mathisons replaced my whole central heating system this week. They did a fantastic job in 4 days. This included taking out 2 water tanks in loft, the emersion heater, 9 radiators and existing boiler etc. And replaced all with new. Very clean and tidy job by knowledgeable professionals who couldn’t have been better. Would highly recommend.

Contacted Mathison on the basis of other reviews. I had a small but not urgent job needing to be done, and I was given a few days notice to be told a plumber could come before 12 noon on Saturday (as they don't work after noon on Saturdays). I have some other plumbing jobs needing to be done (including a new boiler and central heating), so thought I would try Mathison out, then use them for the bigger jobs if they seemed satisfactory. However, the plumber arrived after 12 noon (so I had to cancel other plans), didn't introduce himself by name, then charged over £150 for a straightforward job which took 20 minutes. The parts cannot have been expensive, but the invoice I received didn't show how the cost had been calculated. I found the total cost to be very excessive, so won't be using this company to install my boiler and heating system (or any other jobs in the future). They have done themselves out of a fair bit of business!

I recently have had my boiler replaced by Mathison’s as I have newly moved into the area and was recommended them by a neighbour. I was not only really impressed with how helpful all the employees were, as I was given a full range of options to fit around me, I was also very impressed with the boiler fitting itself, although it was quite a complicated job my house was left immaculate and the engineers were very friendly and helpful when visiting my home. I will definitely use them for any other jobs I should need and would recommend them to anyone as I was very impressed! Thank you!

Recently, my boiler stopped working and I was unsure of what company to go with to get it replaced but I was recommended Mathison's by a local friend. I was impressed with the pricing and service overall, I was given many options and booked for replacement almost immediately by the polite staff. The engineers were also very polite and left my house immaculate after the fitting. Thank you for all your work, would definitely recommend!
