Mandarin Stone in Monmouth
Newly refurbished in December 2020 and conveniently situated between the M4 and M5, Mandarin Stone’s showroom in Monmouth, Wales is located in the historic Welsh market town close to the Herefordshire border. Whilst all stone wall and floor tiles or outdoor stone paving orders are dispatched from our Monmouth site, collections can also be made by prior arrangement (see collection times below). This showroom is open without the need for an appointment. Face coverings & hand sanitising are encouraged within the showroom.

Spaces are available directly outside our Monmouth tile showroom.
Collections
Collections can be made by prior arrangement from our Monmouth warehousing adjacent to the showroom. Collection hours are Monday-Friday 9.30am-4.30pm & Saturday 9.30am-11.30am.

Matthew Harris3 StarHad to make a 2nd order for some tiles due to design change in layout. Tried to order on Monday morning and the website would only let me book for the following week (despite charging over £50 delivery....), so emailed to see if they could deliver the same week (ie within 5 working days) due to tiler being booked in for 1 week only. Was told no. When I asked if a chat could be had with the haulage company to get them out quicker (as the tiles are sat in stock) it was pretty much a "computer says no".
Didn't feel like any effort was made to try & help (in fairness it isn't their problem, it is mine, but good customer service goes above & beyond to help).

Sarah Hutton1 StarMandarin stone have not provided me with a good service at all. I placed a very large order and realised that some of the tiles had been broken in transit. Unfortunately I was outside their 7 day window so they refused to replace the breakages. Considering it was one box I thought they would just sort it out for me as a goodwill gesture. They refused and pointed to the small print. After I complained they offered to replace the broken tiles at 50% of the cost. I was aggrieved about this because they are still putting the costs of their breakages onto me as the customer. They then sent me the wrong tiles and I’ve had to wait weeks to get the right tiles replaced. They can’t understand why I’m not grateful for their appalling customer service. I was even overcharged for the wrong tiles and have had to keep chasing the refund (still pending). Avoid!Wednesday 6th April 2022

Firstly, I liked its selection better than others and thought it had a range of reasonably priced and expensive tiles according to quality. Its range is not the cheapest out there and the service I've received has matched the great quality product they delivered. I had an issue laying some of my tiles and the team at Mandarin Stone (specifically Lawrence) went out of their way to help me through it. They sent photo and video instructions to me and provided some additional tiles at short notice. I couldn't have asked for me and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised because you don't often get that kind of service anymore. I would buy from them again in a heart beat.
