Hi, and welcome to GT Floorcoverings Ltd, We are a friendly local flooring company based in Taunton, Somerset covering all the surrounding areas.
Myself and My wife Karen established the business back in 2000, we are a real family-run flooring business. My name is Gary, and I’m the primary fitter; My Wife Karen is in the office, and our and 2 sons Kurtis (10 years experience) and Ross (13 years experience) are also full time fitters, and now our daughter Freya has joined the fitting side in the last couple years, as well as a couple of superb sub contractors make up the rest of the team. I’ve been in the trade for over 30 years
We offer a friendly, absolutely no pressure, reliable, cost effective and efficient service. We supply and fit all types of domestic and contract/commercial CARPET and VINYL flooring. Ernest Garner5 StarGary, came and quoted for carpet for the lounge and vinyl for the kitchen and bathroom. We picked him on the strength of his reviews and were not dissapointed.
Gary showed us and left with us sample books so that we could view in different positions and at different times of the day and make our choice. A really good idea and gave us confidence in choosing the right carpet and vinyls for our home.
When measuring up he very helpfully calculated the way of covering the area and minimise the waste. A very helpful and professional way of working.
He told us up front what might be in addition to his quote for the possible but unknown issues (to do with the underlay) so there were no surprises.
He came with his sons for the carpet and while we moved all the small oobjects out of the lounge they moved and replaced the heavier items...much to my relief !
We were so impressed that we recommended him to one of our neighbours.
Would I reccomend him if asked....without a doubt.
