Barry Security Centre & Locksmiths is a name that almost everybody in Cardiff, Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan knows. The original business was formed by Doug Hucker in 1976. In the early 90's Tony Cullen took over and all of his wisdom, skill and knowledge was passed on to his son, Matthew Cullen. Owing to his first hand experience and time served experience in the industry, Matthew Cullen continues to operate Barry Security Centre & Locksmiths and residents and business in and around Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan have come to trust and rely on his services. Excellent service, I rang Mathew to ask if he could take a look at my door locks and change them as there was a few problems with them, he was over within a few hours, he found the problems straight away, fixed what he could and replaced what was needed. He also fitted a child proof slider lock inside which has given me extra piece of mind as I live by a main road and have 3 children. He is a very professional friendly family man. I would 100% recommend Mathew. Wow! What an amazing service! I stupidly locked myself out of our home with my 18 month old inside. Luckily Matthew arrived 5 mins after ringing him (actually maybe about 2 mins), and was amazing. Not only did he get me back into our place, but he also calmed me down and was so kind as I was getting quite worried and stressed. He then fitted a new lock and even came back the next day to fit a key safe. What a lovely man, doing a great job, And clearly not doing it to make a load of money but to help people out. Excellent service, good communication and a very reasonable price. Just So you are aware this is a one man business who does a great job managing the shop whilst carrying out emergency call outs and off site work. My advice call the mobile number on the Web site before going to the shop and the owner will let you know if he on site or when he will be back.
